Summer Internship in Qingdao

Hello everyone, and thank you for bearing with me this past academic year.  The few updates I've made to this blog since my return to the USA have underwhelmed even my lazy self.  To be honest, these last 2 semesters have been so busy that this blog quickly got put on hiatus.

Never fear, loyal readers!  (I presume anyone still reading this blog after half a year of no posts must  be loyal.)  Ultimately, this little journal is a travel blog, and when I'm not traveling, I'm not blogging.  Luckily for y'all, travel will commence again at the end of this month.

Starting May 31st, I will be in the lovely coastal city of Qingdao for 3 months (possibly a few weeks more) working as an intern at Amos Qingdao Hainel.  Please see fit to allow a few days for jet-leg recovery, but expect more excessive photo-taking and poorly-executed witticisms as this tacky tourist goes back for Asia Round 2!

Now, the government in Mainland China has deemed it fit to block any "blogger" website, such as this one, since "blogger" itself is owned by Google.  Therefore, since this venture into the People's Republic is of substantial length, I've set up a temporary blog on tumblr.  The website is below:

Thanks for your love and support!
